We are not just manufacturers of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
We are also dog owners and professionals who have dedicated many years to animal physiotherapy.
The founder of Animal Prosthetics, Stephanie Mach, CCBW, CCRP, found her path naturally through clinical practice. While working with patients—dogs recovering from injuries, surgeries, or amputations—she repeatedly encountered situations where it was clear that a dog needed an individualized mobility aid, yet no available solution truly met the patient's specific needs.
Many of the products on the market were generic, ineffective, or unsuitable for the dog's unique anatomy and mobility challenges. It was through these experiences that the idea emerged to create custom-made orthotic and prosthetic devices based on real clinical practice, an in-depth understanding of biomechanics, and the individual needs of each animal—not on standardized sizing charts or mass production.
By combining expertise in physiotherapy, knowledge of movement and rehabilitation, and our own experience as dog owners, we take a comprehensive approach to every case. Our goal is not simply to manufacture a device, but to find a solution that genuinely improves the animal's quality of life. And when we believe that an orthosis or prosthesis is not the right solution, we believe in being honest and transparent about it.

We are the sole company in the Czech Republic that has successfully integrated the creation of mobility aids from human medicine with veterinary physiotherapy. We focus on custom-making aids designed specifically for each animal. Our primary goal is to assist animals experiencing mobility issues due to amputations or other injuries. Conventional orthoses and prostheses in sizes small, medium and large often fit poorly, causing discomfort and health problems. Such aids do not provide sufficient support and do not help the animal much. Our aids are custom made to fit your pet's exact needs. Fast production
Upon receipt of payment, we start production of the movement aid immediately. We usually send the product to our clients within two to four weeks at most.
